Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2020 Mini Catalog offers so many great products that make card making a breeze. The Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper is filled with designs that can quickly make their way into a beautiful card. Every page is gorgeous! Here’s a quick card I made with this paper and coordinating dies:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Sending Well Wishes. The super-sweet sentiment on this card is from Dandelion Wishes, a stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog. I love the font and the words – uplifting for anyone who receives a card with this on the front. Here’s a look at the Dandelion Wishes stamp set:
The beautiful sentiment pairs perfectly with the floral backdrop I pulled from the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper:
- Poppy Moments. The watercolored backdrop of paper isn’t the only time we see poppies on this simple card. A white outline of a flower pops out from behind the sentiment, creating a graphic element on this card. Here’s a closer look:
The flower was cropped with the Poppy Moments die, part of the Peaceful Moments Bundle. Here’s a look at this bundle:
- Color Combination. While I pulled Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White from this panel of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper, the watercolored paper features three gorgeous colors that look great together – Poppy Parade, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss. If you like this mix of colors as much as I do, please save this:

One of those collections of DSP that has me loving both sides of every single sheet.
Excellent negative space created by the poppy dies; perfect foil for the lush DSP and the yummy color palette.❤️ This
