Sweet and Simple Happy Anniversary 3″ x 3″ Card

Today I’m sharing a sweet-and-simple 3″ x 3″ card I made for my team members who are celebrating their 5 year anniversary with Stampin’ Up!. I designed this simple card to go along with a small gift, and I am excited to share a little bit about it with you today. Here’s the card:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

• Magnolia Lane. The gorgeous, striped paper and beautiful flower are both cropped from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog. Here’s a look at the beautiful colors and patterns in this pack of papers:The Petal Pink and Whisper White stripes are designed with a horizontal (or vertical) pattern.  I used the Stitched Shapes Dies, though, to cut the paper at an angle to give it a different pattern. How fun! Here’s a look at the shapes in the must-have Stitched Shapes Dies: The flower was also cropped with the Magnolia Memory Dies – straight from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle, which includes the Magnolia Memory Dies:Last year, Stampin’ Up! released a Magnolia Lane Bulk Designer Series Paper that includes only four of the patterns – and the Bulk pack is still available! This bulk package includes 20 sheets of patterned paper (10 each of 2 double-sided designs from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper). What a joy! Here’s a look:
• Double-backed. Because I wanted to pop up the flower I had cropped from the Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals, I knew I needed to give it a little more thickness. Because I had cropped the flower with a die from Magnolia Memory, I knew I could crop a piece of cardstock with the same die and the glue the two together.  That’s exactly what I did! I added the simple “happy anniversary” from one of my favorite sentiment sets, Itty Bitty Greetings. Such a great variety of sentiments in this set! I punched it with the punch found in the Darling Label Punch Box (still available!).
• Coordinated. Want to know what the card was delivered with? I won’t show you the gift inside (each one is personalized to the recipient), but I will show you the Mini Pizza box I designed for the gift: The lid of the Mini Pizza Box is decorated with a piece of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. The sentiment from Strong & Beautiful is cropped with a Stitched Labels Die and framed with a Timeless Label punch. The bow is tied with the Petal Pink 5/8″ Striped Organdy Ribbon.
