Forever Blossoms for Easter

I’m excited to share a soft, sweet Easter card with you today. While the Forever Blossoms Bundle is currently unorderable (this virus is affecting all businesses), I know a lot of you already have it. I couldn’t pass on this opportunity to share an Easter card idea with this gorgeous set and the coordinating paper. Here’s my card:

Forever Blossoms, A Wish for Everything, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Easter cardTips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Two Papers. You already know how much I love Designer Series Papers, right? My card combines a beautiful Pool Party panel from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper with a background piece of Petal Pink paper found in the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. What a grand combination! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper (found in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2020 Mini Catalog):Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 151192Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper (found in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog): Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 2019 Annual Catalog, 149100
  • Flowers for Easter. I stamped this branch of cherry blossoms with Smoky Slate ink on Thick Whisper White and colored the flowers and leaves with my Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. So easy! So fun! I cropped the flowers with the Cherry Blossom Dies and glued the flowers to the left side of my Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper – the flowers look great against this light blue background:  Forever Blossoms, A Wish for Everything, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Easter cardI also stamped the sentiment with Smoky Slate and cropped it with a die from the Ornate Frames Dies (the dies that went with the Halloween set in the 2019 Holiday Catalog and are still available today). The sentiment is from the A Wish for Everything Bundle:A Wish for Everything Bundle, Stampin' Up! 151111The dies are hard to read, so I turned the graphic around so you can see each one:Word Wishes Dies, Stampin' Up! 149629
  • Sweet Color Combination. I love the mix of these soft colors in this card. Pool Party and Petal Pink are so gorgeous together, and Smoky Slate makes them even more beautiful. If you like this mix of Petal Pink, Pool Party and Smoky Slate as much as I do, please save this for future reference:Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Petal Pink, Pool Party, Smoky Slate
