I had so much fun playing with the Coming Home Bundle this past weekend – if you missed my Christmas card with this bundle, you can see it here. I didn’t stop there, though. I had an idea about how to use the coordinating Home Together Dies and couldn’t put the dies away until I made this card:
- Coming Home Bundle. We have all been home a lot lately. Despite the fact that I might be “trapped” at home, I have loved it. I have always been a homebody, but there’s been something very centering about enjoying time in my home. It’s now where I work (my career job and my stamping job), where I play (my craft room), where I eat all of my meals and where I binge-watch all the seasons of Survivor. Here’s a look at the Coming Home Bundle, which includes the Coming Home Photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Home Together Dies:
- Playful Alphabet. I positioned the houses on my card so that the word HOME would be perfectly spaced across them – it was easier than I thought. I cropped the four letters from Poppy Parade with the Playful Alphabet Dies – I love these tiny letters (the perfect size for cards and scrapbooking projects). Here’s a look at the Playful Alphabet Dies:
I cropped the four letters (and a heart from the Stitched Be Mine Dies) into a Foam Adhesive Sheet. I pealed the top layer off of the Foam Adhesive Sheets, pressed the Poppy Parade die cuts into the adhesive and then popped them out of it. I used a pair of tweezers to place the letters and heart just where I wanted them on the card. Here’s a look at the Foam Adhesive Sheets:
Here’s a closer look at my finished cardfront:
- Beautiful Blues. The houses I’ve layered on my cardfront are a beautiful mix of blues – from dark to light they are Pretty Peacock, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party. Many of Stampin’ Up!’s blues and greens are aqua tones (and I love that so much). Each of the four colors I picked for this card are a mix of blue and green, but I consider them beautiful blues. If you like this mix of Pretty Peacock, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party, please save this for future reference:
Papers: Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (Basic Gray), Basic Gray, Pretty Peacock, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight Accessories: Home Together Dies, Playful Alphabet Dies, Layering Circles Dies, Foam Adhesive Sheets, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Ok, I’m first today, WOOHOO!!
I love this row of cute little houses and that big moon out there in the night sky, that DSP is just perfect for a background.
And, as always, the color combination is a winner!!
Thank you for sharing.
XO
Awww! Thank you so much, Maria! The moon was an afterthought – just needed something else. It gave me JUST what I needed. Thanks!
Beautiful card!! Your Alphabet letters are so nice and smooth-how do you use the dies and not get the dots?
I have seen that some people glue the cardstock to the foam adhesive and then cut them out. That always creates the dots. I cut the cardstock (where there were small impressions, I smoothed them with a bone folder) and then cut the foam and then add the letter to the foam. I hope that helps!
Amazing with those shades of blue and bold HOME!
Thanks, Mary! I love these houses and letters so so much. Glad you like the card.
Great card! I love your blue color mix. With the pop of red.
Thanks, Susan! I love how PoppyParade played with these blues, too. ♥
Pretty color blends and how original in design ! Completely different from yesterday`s card which shows the versatility of this set !!
Thank you for another version !
I’m so happy you like it, Sonny! I really had fun with this layout. ♥
You were playing hard with this bundle..love the colors..looks so happy!
I was! Thanks, Windy! ♥
This card is so FABULOUS my friend. Your color combo and card layout are FANTASTIC.
Thank you so much, Kadie! I love the Stampin’ Up! blues – Pool Party and Coastal Cabana have been favorites at one point in time. Pretty Peacock is now my go-to. Thanks!
Years ago I read the book Home Is Where The Heart Is and loved it. When I saw your card today it reminded me of that treasured book. I love the way you are using the foam backing to bring dimension to your cards and I especially love today’s card. I too am a “homebody”. Thanks for sharing Brian.
That might be one of the things that connects us so much, Grace – our homebodiness. 🙂 I’m so glad you like the card – I really had fun with this bundle.
Awwwww, what a beautiful neighborhood,
Home is where the love grows ♥️
Hugs Frenchie ♥️
♥ Thank you so much, Frenchie! ♥
This card is stunning, Brian! You were really able to transform the dies into a new silhouette. And of course the playful alphabet dies continue to be essential staples. I love this card! Great, now I want these supplies, too!
I’m so happy to share, Noelle! I would have to agree that you should have all of these supplies…but I might have personal motives there. 🙂 Thanks!
Love, love, love that “HOME” card!
Thank you so much, Georgette! That makes me so happy! ♥
What a sweet card, Brian. I love the red “HOME” and heart with the houses in different blues. So pretty. I, too, am enjoying being home so much. Have a great day!
Thank you so much, Hilda! I always love to hear from you! ♥ Hope your day is wonderful, too!
This clean graphic design is perfection!
I absolutely love this card. It’s perfect for so many different occasions. You’re going to need to explain the cropping with the foam adhesive sheets for me. Marvelous job Brian!
