Be Inspired by Memories & More

It’s time for another Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop – what fun! The Be Inspired Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world who are excited to share our themed projects with you. I’m so honored to be a part of this group of talented stampers!

For today’s Be Inspired Blog Hop, we are sharing projects we’ve created with Stampin’ Up!’s Memories & More products, coordinating packs of cards that are perfect for cardmaking, memory keeping, or any other
project you can dream up. While many use these cards to easily document memories in pocket pages, I used them today to make cards. If you aren’t starting the hop here, then you probably just popped over from the amazing project shared by my talented friend Carolynn Sander.

Wonder of the Season Memories & More

As I flipped through all the cards in the Wonder of the Season Memories & More pack, there were some patterns that really stood out to me. Because the colors in the pack are limited to six colors, I was able to easily pair up designs that would look great together. Here are four Memories & More cards I chose to work with from the Wonder of the Season pack:

Here’s a look at the Memories & More card pack I’ve used for today’s project:

Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Pack, Stampin Up! 153538I showed you how to use these Memories & More Card Packs to make cards – here’s a great shot from the August – December 2020 Mini Catalog that shows the cards being used in a pocket-style scrapbook:

Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Pack, Stampin Up!In addition to the Wonder of the Season Memories & More Card Packs, both of my cards feature a sentiment from the Bundled in Christmas stamp set:

Wrapped in Christmas, Stampin Up! 153481“Peace on earth” is a perfect sentiment for a beautiful, white Christmas Tree, don’t you think? I paid the tree with a Pool Party background and an panel embossed with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. Such an elegant card. The round sentiment that says “surround yourself in the love of the season” is one of my all-time favorites. I thought it was fun to pair “love” with the panel of mistletoe on the second card. The Absolutely Argyle 3D embossing folder gave me a great texture for the Real Red panel on this card.

I love that I was able to crop out each sentiment with my Stitched Shapes Dies, a most versatile set of shapes for any card.

Stitched Shapes Dies, Stampin Up! 152323All four of the cards I chose to work with feature shades of Garden Green and Shaded Spruce – I love the gorgeous mix of greens. To supplement these greens, I made one card with Pool Party accents and one with Real Red accents. If you like these color combinations as much as I do, I hope you will save these for future reference:
