Yesterday I told you all about the Merry & Bright Online Extravaganza that Stampin’ Up! is hosting tomorrow. If you missed that post, please check it out here. I wanted to give you lots of time to plan your big order for the big day. Aren’t I the sweetest?
Today’s card features the Quite Curvy Bundle, a new offering in November that will also be featured in Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 January – June Mini Catalog. Getting it early is great! While the hallmark of this new bundle is the curved dies to create borders on your cards, I created today’s note card with a curvy branch of flowers and a sweet songbird. Here’s my card:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Quite Curvy. While you are preparing your really big order for tomorrow – I can’t wait to see what you’ll buy with the 10% discount on [almost] everything from Stampin’ Up!’s 2020 Annual Catalog – go ahead and make room for Quite Curvy. Even if it’s not part of the sale (and it’s not), you’re going to want to have it. Here’s a look at the Quite Curvy Bundle that’s featured on my simple card:
While the Quite Curvy Bundle will be available in the upcoming Mini Catalog in January, the current promotion also includes a limited-time Curvy Christmas stamp set and Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. As a Bundle, you can pick up ALL of these products with a 10% discount. How incredible is that?!
Just a note – the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper has proven to be very popular (it’s gorgeous!) and so is on a slight backorder. More paper should arrive on November 30 and can be shipped immediately – don’t let that stop you from ordering it now. Here’s a look at the Curvy Celebration flyer:
- Hippo & Friends. While my card features flowers and a sweet bird (there’s no hippopotamus in sight), the bird and flowers are framed with two of my favorite dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies, part of the Hippo Happiness Bundle. Here’s a look:
The larger frame crops a piece of Shaded Spruce paper from the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (see – you can use it AFTER Christmas), and the smaller frame is cropped from Pool Party. I love this combination.
- Two Color Combos. My simple note card mixes some rich tones with some super-soft tones. I stamped the branch in Shaded Spruce and colored it with a variety of soft and bright Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the bird in Night of Navy and colored him with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. Such fun! There are two color combinations from this card I love so much – the layers of cardstock and sentiment:
and the colors used on the flowers:
Bundles: Quite Curvy Stamp Sets: Quite Curvy Papers: Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes, Pool Party Inks: Shaded Spruce, Night of Navy, Stampin’ Blends (Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party, Purple Posy, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink) Accessories: Envelopes Dies, Hippo & Friends Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
What do you think? Does this card feel like it was made just for you?
Don’t forget to spend some time today with your catalog so you can take full advantage of tomorrow’s big sale.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Brian

Marvelous how the curvy vine and bird hug the octagon!
Thanks, Mary! I had overlooked the vine until I started playing. Glad you like it!
Brian, I love the color combos you used to make this sweet card. I like how you stamped the floral branch in green and the bird in blue. It makes a very pretty card with a sweet sentiment. Enjoy your day!
Thank you so much, my friend! I find the Classic Stampin’ Pads dry more quickly than the Memento Ink, making it easier to “get going” on the card instead of waiting for the Memento Ink to dry. Glad you like it!
Sweet card and fun mix of both die sets!
Thanks, Windy! There’s so much more to the Quite Curvy Bundle than the border dies – this vine is so sweet. Glad you like it.
OH SO PRETTY Brian. Love what you created.
Thanks, Kadie! There’s something sweet about a little bird, so all the cuteness was focused there. 🙂
I love the little bird! I got the set for the little birds plus that Ivy is really pretty and can be used a lot ! Love how you used them . Your blue and green are just right for this layout !
A KING ORIGINAL !
Morning, Brian! I really like both color palettes ? you’ve shared today … the blue and green is my favorite.
So glad I bought the Curvy Bundles. Your “note card”design today is so sweet! (You did use the note cards, didn’t you?)
Time to figure out my order for the Big Sale big ?
You hit this one out of the ballpark. LOVE it!
Thanks, Ann! I really loved working with this little branch more than I expected. ♥
Sooo tweet….I mean sweet….. 🙂
