Picture This & Cutest Halloween

Do. Not. Scare. Me. (Please). I do not like a haunted house, and I do not like to be scared. That’s one of the reasons I’ve never been a huge fan of Halloween – it’s just not my holiday. BUT…I do love the cuteness and sweetness of children in costumes and fun, non-scary images. Today’s card features a big “boo!,” but you’ll agree there’s nothing scary about it. Here’s my super-sweet Halloween card:

Along with the Halloween images and patterns, my card features the Picture This Dies, a non-bundled set of dies in Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog. While I’ve used the circles and rectangles that are cut from these frames, this is the first card I’ve made with a peek-a-boo effect. Here’s a look at the Picture This Dies:

Instead of popping up the panel with the six cropped circles, I clued that panel down and popped up the three largest circles. The cat, ghost and jack-o-lantern on my card are cropped from the Cute Halloween 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper with the Halloween Punch, part of the Cutest Halloween Bundle. I cropped the ghost from the first page, and I cropped the cat and jack-o-lantern from the seventh page on the second row. I filled the small circles with the dotted pattern (fifth page on the second row) because it includes colors from the other three circles to bring the whole thing together. Here’s a closer look:

Each of the images in the large circles are backed with colors you might not think of as Halloween colors, but they work with each of the images. If you like this mix of Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Pumpkin Pie as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
