Treat Yourself with Cutest Halloween

I love the cute side of Halloween – scary ghosts are no good, but adorable ghosts are wonderful! Today’s Halloween card features three adorable ghosts and a sweet trio of colors for the not-so-scary side of Halloween. Here’s my card:

The ghosts and sweet sentiment on my card are pulled from the Cutest Halloween stamp set and punched with the Halloween Punch. While the punch can be used to crop out a ghost, a pumpkin and a cat, I chose the sweet ghost (who seems like he’s handing out candy) to adorn my bold-striped card. The Halloween Punch can be used to punch out three of the images in the Cutest Halloween stamp set but also coordinates with the images in the Cute Halloween 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in this fun pack of papers:

I used the black-and-white striped page (last on the bottom row above) to build a patterned foundation for my trio of ghosts. Each ghost is surrounded by Cute Stars Adhesive-Backed Sequins. You can see those sequins here.

While this paper is black-and-white, I pulled three colors from the other pages of this Cute Halloween 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to give each ghost it’s own sweet band. I used Stampin’ Blends to add Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Pumpkin Pie to these stripes. If you like this sweet mix of colors as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
