Thank you with 2 Sale-a-Bration Products

As Sale-a-Bration starts to wrap up (the second Sale-a-Bration of 2021 ends on September 30), I feel pressured to make sure you have picked up all the amazing products you want from this two-month celebration. I’ve loved this second round of Sale-a-Bration and don’t want you to miss out. Today’s card, inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches sketch, showcases two products from the Sale-a-Bration brochure. Here’s my card:

Shaded Summer, Shaded Summer Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingHere’s the sketch for this week’s challenge:

FMS503I added a few layers to my card, but the inspiration sketch is showcased on the top panel of my card. The leafy/floral element on my card is stamped with the Shaded Summer stamp set (from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog) and cropped with the Summer Shadows Dies (one of the products you can earn during Sale-a-Bration). Here’s a look at the Beautiful Shaded Summer stamp set:

Shaded Summer, Stampin Up!, 155783The Summer Shadows set of dies includes dies that crop out all three of the floral/leafy images in the stamp set – and other flowers and leaves that can be used to build a beautiful project with (or without) the coordinating stamp set. And here’s a look at the Summer Shadows Dies that can be selected with a $100 order [before shipping and taxes] during Sale-a-Bration):

Summer Shadows Dies, Stampin Up!, 156618The sketch inspiration includes three shapes that create a basis for the floral image. I reached for the Textures & Frames stamp set that can be selected with a $50 order (before shipping and taxes) during Sale-a-Bration. While the images in the set seem to be elementary and childish, they have a very sophisticated look on this card. Here’s a look at the Textures & Frames stamp set:

Textures & Frames, Stampin Up! 156616The shapes and flowers are stamped with Soft Succulent ad Evening Evergreen, two of Stampin’ Up!’s 2021-2023 In Colors. The focal panel is surrounded by panels of the same colors and a beautiful piece of Evening Evergreen paper from the Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog. Here’s a closer look at the flowers and Textures & Frames set on my card:

  1. Beautiful card. I love the variety of greens. I just received the Textures and Frames set and have been looking for some inspiration to use it.

  2. You’ve combined so many elements so beautifully Brian. Such a pretty card. Have a great day!

  3. This card reminds me of a friend of mine who is definitely a lovely, southern lady. She is gracious (aren’t all southern ladies gracious?) and
this card brought the word gracious to me as soon as I saw it. You guessed it Brian – that southern lady is your Aunt Marjorie! I bet you had her in mind when you created this beautiful card.

  4. Love your layers and the background you created behind the flowers! So pretty!

  5. Marvelous sketch and I love those swooshes of color in the background.

  6. What a delightful creation with these two sets! Your layering is next level, colors are perfection.

  7. I admit, the Textures and Frames stamp set was not on my radar. But you’ve done another amazing job making me want it. The colors you’ve chosen are just beautiful. And that vellum? I had to really enlarge the photo because I thought it was one of our beautiful grays. Wow!

  8. I like the sentiments on this stamp set because they are a little different .
I have not gotten this set yet ,but as always when I see them put into a pretty presentation that set goes on my list !
    Pretty card !

  9. your card is very pretty, I couldn’t quite see the vellum but I too want that stamp set now! You do awesome work!

  10. Love how you used the swipes of color for the square elements in this terrific monochromatic design, Brian! Thanks for playing along with us at FMS this week.

  11. Such a pretty floral design. I love your creative use of the brush stroke stamp for the squares. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week.
