Sneak Peek: Sweet Conversations

I had so much fun making today’s Valentine’s Day card to share with you. Not only did I really enjoy working with several new products from the Sweet Talk Collection in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog (you can find these items on pages 8, 9 and 10), but I loved working with these colors. Here’s the Valentine’s Day card I made with the Sweet Conversations Bundle and Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper:

Who doesn’t love conversation hearts at Valentine’s Day? Even if you don’t enjoy the sugary candies, then you certainly enjoy the fun messages printed on them. The traditional hearts we grew up with say “HUG ME” or “BE MINE” but today’s hearts are a little less committal with  “UR CUTE” and “TXT ME.” Love them! Here’s a look at the Sweet Conversations Bundle, which includes the Sweet Conversation photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Sweet Hearts Dies:

Not only did I stamp and crop the three hearts at the center of my card with the stamp set and dies, but I cropped some other great hearts to provide a foundation for my trio of hearts and add a little extra color and dimension to the card. I want to point out that each of the connected hearts (there’s three of them in the set) leaves you with little hearts, making it so easy to sprinkle a few here-and-there. Here’s a closer look at the cropped hearts on my card:

I build the stripes on my card with pieces from this year’s Valentine’s Day Designer Series Paper, a 12″ x 12″ pack of heart-filled pages (you are going to want) called Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper. The pages include Blushing Bride, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Petal Pink, Pool Party and So Saffron. I love those colors! Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in this new pack of papers:

I pulled the colors for my card straight from these papers. If you love this mix of Petal Pink, Highland Heather and Real Red as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
