We Can Get Through Anything Together

When I learned that my local Starbucks was collecting cards to hand out with their Meals on Wheels service project, I immediately thought of someone I know who makes a lot of cards and would have a stash I could easily pull from. What a wonderful opportunity to help out AND clear some cards out of my craft space! Being the overachiever that I am, though, I decided it would be fun to design and create new cards. It didn’t help me to get rid of cards, but I had a lot of fun making them.

I created one simple layout and made multiples of three designs with six pages from the Rainbow & Sunshine 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and added a great sentiment from Blessings of Home that I cropped with the Cloud Punch. All three are new in January. Here are the cards I made:

Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this super-fun pack of papers (you can click on the image below to tab through all of the pages in this pack of papers):

Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 158126The sentiment on my card is pulled from the Blessings of Home stamp set, new in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog – it fit perfectly inside the shape of the cloud from the Cloud Punch and is a great “general statement” that’s perfect for today’s world. Here’s a look at the Blessings of Home bundle:

Cloud Punch, Stampin Up! 157749Here are the measurements I used to showcase these papers on these note cards (starting with the base and working up to the sentiment):

  • Note card base – 5″ x 7″ (scored at 3-1/2″)
  • Bumblebee – 4-5/8″ x 3-1/8″
  • Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – 4-1/2″ x 2″
  • Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – 4-1/2″ x 1″
  • Bumblebee – cropped with Layering Circles Dies
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Thick Basic White – cropped with Cloud Punch

I mixed the cardstock layers and ink for the sentiments on the cards, depending on the mix of colors in the patterns. Here’s a closer look at each of the three cards I made:
