A Note of Thanks with

Since the new Designer Series Papers from Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog first arrived on my doorstep, I have been itching to play with the Misty Moonlight and white pattern at the heart of this card. There are so many great floral, brick and wooden patterns in this pack of papers, but this pattern is a real standout to me. Here’s my card:

I used two patterns from the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper on this card – the base is a wood panel pattern in Basic Gray (second pattern along the top row), and the focal panel is the glorious print (fifth pattern along the top row). I’m sure my amateur description is imperfect, but while the page has a very “Americana” feel to it, it also reminds me of a Venetian damask design. On my card, the beautiful paper is perfect for a masculine card. Here are the colors and patterns in the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper:

Framed just inside the Basic Gray panel, these triangles remind me of photo corners, but they also change the look of the shape of the Designer Series Paper. I was so happy to pull out those triangles to play on this card. I cropped my sentiment with one of the circles in the Picture This Dies. Here’s a closer look:

The Wildlife Wonder stamp set is a GORGEOUS Distinktive stamp set. The gorgeous creatures in this set (found on page 71 of the Mini Catalog) will make you look like a water coloring artist. I love that bear! It’s the sentiments in the stamp set, though, that sold me on it. What a great variety of beautiful sentiments (you know I like a mix of printed and scripted fonts) for a variety of occasions. Here’s a look at the Wildlife Wonder stamp set:  Wildlife Wonder, Stampin Up!, 157923This stamp set is one (out of many) of the TWO FREE STAMP SETS you can choose as your free gift with your Starter Kit when you join my team in January or February. That’s right! When you spend $99 to buy your Starter Kit, you get $125 of your choice of product PLUS two free stamp sets of your choice. 5. An absolutely outstanding card today Brian! I am surprised at how often I reach for the stitched triangle dies. I originally bought them to use for designing quilt blocks but they are perfect for so much more. Your color combination of the Misty Moonlight and Basic Gray is just gorgeous. Love it.
