Live Life in Full Bloom

Yesterday I shared a sweet card I received from a friend in Stampin’ Up!’s home office – if you missed it, you can see it here. I loved the simple layout so much that I created my own card with some of my favorite new products. Here’s my card that was inspired by the card I shared yesterday:

Flowering Rain Boots, Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian KingAll three of the panels on my card are pulled from the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, one of the products you can select with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration. Sale-a-Bration runs through February 28 – and I know you are going to want a pack of these papers. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper:

Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 158127My card features two of the patterns from this gorgeous pack of papers – the first page on the top row and the last image on the top row. The panel of flowers in the middle of my card front measures 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″, and the two panels at the top and bottom measure 3-3/4″ x 1″.

The sentiment is perfect for these beautiful flowers – “live life in full bloom” is a great saying, and I love the font. The sentiment is pulled from the popular Flowering Rain Boots stamp set, which is part of the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle. Here’s a look at this bundle, new in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog:

I pulled three Crushed Curry dots from the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots and scattered them around my sentiment, which was cropped with the Label Me Fancy Punch. Here’s a closer look at the sentiment and added embellishments:

  3. Love the matting and layering of those wonderful DSP choices. Always like seeing how different the same layout can become depending on paper and color. I like this card even more than it’s inspiration. TFS

  6. Today’s card was very “springy” and just what we could use up here in north
country where snow and ice continue to let us know it’s still “wintah” here in Maine. Bright, beautiful colors in a lovely design reminds us that Spring is not far away. Love it Brian.
