It’s not often I am able to share projects created by other stampers, but there’s just no way I could hide the beautiful card Linda Droege recently sent me. Here’s how Linda unknowingly coerced me into sharing her card with you – she designed a GORGEOUS card with an amazing color combination and incorporated two of my favorite sets of dies…and then…you aren’t going to believe this…she mailed it to me with a lovely note inside. What kind of person would I be if I didn’t share this gorgeous card with you:
Since the release of Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog, I’ve been in love with the Floral Squares Dies, sold individually or as a part of the All Squared Away Bundle. I’ve reached for these dies often – because they are wonderful! I love that Linda was able to position all four of these squares on her slimline card. Here’s a look at the All Squared Away Bundle:
Not only did Linda crop black flowers to accent the white cutouts from the Floral Squares, but she layered a lot of the individual flowers along the bottom, left corner and across the top, right corner. It was the Black Matte Dots that pulled my attention to these gorgeous accents. Here’s a closer look:
My first “must have” from the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog was the Amazing Thanks Dies, sold individually or as a part of the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle. The black and white sentiment mirrors the four square dies above, making them perfectly coordinated. Here’s a look at this incredible bundle:
I love the little red heart to the left of my sentiment – the only pop of (non-neutral) color on the card, which pulls your eye right in. The little pop or red against the kraft, black and white cardstock is so, so sweet.
While Linda used kraft cardstock on her gorgeous card, I think it would look great with Cinnamon Cider cardstock, too! If you like this mix of Basic White, Cinnamon Cider and Basic Black, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Papers: Basic Black, Basic White, Kraft Accessories: Floral Squares Dies, Amazing Thanks Dies, Bouquet of Love Hybrid, Black Matte Dies
What do you think of Linda’s card? Isn’t it amazing?! If you like it as much as I do, I hope you’ll leave a comment to let her know how much you appreciate her art.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Love the color combination on this card. Great slim line card!
WOW! This may be the card that makes me a slimline believer. (I have vehemently avoided them in case they need extra postage–and I don’t even know if that’s true!) Do I spy, with my little eye, layers on the inside, too???!! A stunner! Thanks for sharing, Brian. Didn’t you share this lovely color combo recently? Perhaps you inspired Linda…she sure knocked it out of the park!
I absolutely love this card! My favorite color combination.
I have always likes this set every time you use it, and now I may just have to get it. Thank you for sharing Brian.
This neutral palette has my jaw dropping! Beautiful and modern.
I love this card. It’s so clean and crisp in this color combo. The flowers on the bottom left side are a subtle addition that softens the look. The sweet heart is the perfect finale. Thanks, Linda, for this beautiful inspiration and Brian for sharing it.
Enjoy your day!
