Something to Brighten Your Day

I was sharing a lot of projects with the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle in January and February when the incredible dies moved to “low inventory” and then quickly to “unavailable.” While I didn’t post projects while the dies were unavailable, I was still thinking about fun ways to use the products. Now that they are back (lots of great bundles are back in stock), I made this card with the largest of the dies in the bundle (and a couple of other favorites):

Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, Basic Borders Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingYou might be scratching your head or wiping your screen – yes, I used Glimmer Paper to build the arches in my rainbow. The Rainbow Glimmer Paper (from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog) gave me the beautiful blend of color from Magenta Madness to Mango Melody – and there are so many other colors featured in the Glimmer Paper. AND it doesn’t shed like the old Glimmer Papers used to shed. Five stars. An enjoyable experience. ♥

The sweet sentiment and the four large bands on my card are pulled from the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, which includes the Rainbow of Happiness photopolymer stamp set and Brilliant Rainbow Dies:

Basic Borders Dies, Stampin Up!, 155558Incidentally, the stitched circle around the sentiment is cropped with another non-bundles set of dies in the 2021 Annual Catalog – the Picture This Dies. Such fun. I’ve shared a link to these dies at the base of this post.

Look at the shine on these rainbow bands (this angle also shows the progression to the Mango Melody part of the paper that gets a little lost under the clouds):

Brilliant Rainbow Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingHere’s a fun tip for perfectly adding the cropped bands to your card base – use the piece from which the bands are cropped as a template to glue down the bands. I secured my template with Post-it Tape, added glue to the inside of each arch, glued in the cropped pieces and then removed the template. !Voila!
