A beautiful card doesn’t have to be difficult to make. How many times have I started a blog post with that statement? The card I am sharing today was so simple to make that I almost (just almost) feel guilty sharing it with you. Three panels of gorgeous prints from the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper provide a gorgeous backdrop for a powerful statement on this card. Here’s my card:
The Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper is part of the new Waves of the Ocean Collection, a new suite of products available during a limited-time promotion. While the Waves of Inspiration Bundle will be featured in the upcoming 2022 Annual Catalog, the other products in the collection (including the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper) are only available through May 2. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper:
The top panel on my card measures 3-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ and the other two panels measure 1-3/4″ x 3-1/2″. Together, the three panels measure 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″. I love the mix of patterns and tones in these papers.
The sentiment on my card is stamped on Basic White cardstock and cropped with a small Stitched Rectangles Die. I framed the sentiment with each of the three colors represented in the panels on the card – Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral. Here’s a closer look:
Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana were once In Colors that eventually made their way into the permanent color collection. I can’t be 100% sure, but I don’t think Pacific Point was ever an In Color. Regardless, together they are pure gorgeousness – don’t you think? If you like this mix of Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana and Pacific Point as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
