A Sophisticated Hello with Happiness Abounds

After yesterday’s floral parade for Mother’s Day, I felt inspired to create a project with some beautiful, new flowers. Rather than showcase the GORGEOUS and OVER-THE-TOP beauty of the Hues of Happiness Suite, which is showcased on the front of the 2022 Annual Catalog with vibrant colors, I created a simple, sophisticated card with neutral tones. Here’s my card:

My card pulls elements from two amazing, new bundles and a must-have set of dies. My card showcases a gorgeous sentiment from the Nature’s Prints Bundle – the gorgeous font makes the simple saying even sweeter. Here’s a look at the Nature’s Prints Bundle:

I stamped the sentiment with Basic Gray on Thick Basic White and cropped it with the Stylish Shapes Dies, one of the stand-alone die sets in the new catalog. Here’s a look at the Stylish Shapes Dies:

The flowers and leaves are from the Happiness Abounds stamp set. I stamped the flowers with Merry Merlot ink on a 2-3/4″ square of Smoky Slate cardstock and framed it with Merry Merlot cardstock. I stamped leaves from the set on Basic Gray cardstock with Basic Gray ink, allowing the leaves to randomly peek out from behind the focal panel. Here’s a look at the Happiness Abounds Bundle:

I love the mix of Smoky Slate, Basic Gray and Merry Merlot. If you like this trio of neutral tones as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
