Today’s blog post is a math lesson based on a universal formula:
Awesome + Awesome = Really, Really Awesome
Remember when we covered that one in school? Even if you didn’t cover it, it’s a universal truth that no once can deny. Today’s project blends two of the most popular (and awesome) products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog – a bundle that centers on a collection of amazing sentiments and a gorgeous pack of papers that has everyone “ooh-ing” and “aah-ing.” Together, these awesome things are really, really awesome. Here’s the card I made that blends the Charming Sentiments Bundle and Sun Prints Designer Series Paper:
The Charming Sentiments Bundle is a Million Dollar Sale stamp set that my friend, Lisa Curcio, helped to design. I do love a great collection of sentiments – and this one has it all. In addition to the sayings, the collection of coordinating dies is quite wonderful. Here’s a look at the Charming Sentiments Bundle:
The dies in this set closely hug the sentiments for a cropped saying that looks like you’ve carefully hand-snipped it. I was hesitant to believe this would work (I was certain the sentiment could not be cropped so closely and that I would be frustrated with the results). I was wrong. I stamped this sentiment four times, preparing to need all of them to get a good cropped image, but I got it right the first time through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. So you know…I cut two more with the same result. It was really quite easy to get a good, tight cut.

The sentiment is positioned on a Night of Navy page from the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper, which is absolutely GORGEOUS! Here’s a look at the beautiful blues and grays in this beautiful pack of papers (you can click on the image below to flip through the pages in my online store):
Behind my focal panel is a beautiful page from the Brushstroke Specialty Designer Series Paper. The beautiful texture in this Night of Navy piece really adds to my design without taking away from the focal panel and sentiment.
