Magic is in the Air with a Bewitching Wizard’s Cap

Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog features festive sets for all the Fall holidays. The catalog includes whimsical products for Halloween, Autumn-inspired goodies for Thanksgiving and a variety of Christmas/Winter products. I don’t make a lot of projects for Halloween, but it’s the first of “the big three” – here’s a fun card I made with the Bewitching Bundle:

I am a sucker for a stamp/punch bundle, and the Bewitching Bundle gives us three hats and some cute accessories. The punch can crop out each of the hat images and gives us a band for the hat and some stars. Here’s a look at the Bewitching Bundle, which includes the Bewitching Cling Stamp Set and coordinating Witch Hat Builder Punch:

There are no sentiments in the Bewitching stamp set, so I had free reign to find a coordinating saying. I also took that free reign to convert my witch’s hat into a wizard’s hat. That made “Magic is in the air” (from the Christmas to Remember stamp set) a fun accompaniment to the hat. I added a magic wand to my card for a fun trio on a Parakeet Party stitched circle:

I mounted these items on a panel of black-and-white checkered diamonds from the Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper. What a versatile pack of papers that I will be using lots! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper:

Starry Sky gave me a great, rich color for the base of my card and wizard’s hat and works so well with all the black in the card. I accented the Starry Sky with accents of Daffodil Delight and Parakeet Party. If you like this mix of colors as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
