For You with the Handmade Wishes Bundle

When I mailed out Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Brochures to my customers last month, I made (as I always do) some cute, little tags to accompany the books and wish lists. If you are my customer and haven’t received a copy of the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog and July-August 2022 Sale-a-Bration Brochure, please email me today to let me know so I can get a copy in the mail to you right away. To create my tags, I reached for two punches that worked well together to build a sweet, colorful tag. Here’s the tag I made:

Handmade Wishes Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe top layer is stamped with the Handmade Wishes stamp set and punched with the coordinating Handmade Tag Punch (such a great punch!). The second layer is punched with the same punch and turned askew so the bits of green popped out. Here’s a look at the Handmade Wishes Bundle, new in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog:

Handmade Wishes Bundle, Stampin Up! 159691The Handmade Tag Punch is such a versatile and fun punch with a unique shape. I really love how versatile the punch is – it can be used to create a lot of different shapes. Page 21 of the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog showcases three ways to showcase this punch:

3 Shapes for the Handmade Tag Punch, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe sentiments, images and frames in the stamp set allow us to position the coordinating punch in a number of ways. Here’s a quick rundown of the shapes shown above:

  1. full punch positioned like a diamond
  2. full punch positioned like a square
  3. full punch positioned like square and then trimmed along the top and bottom.

Back to my tag…Behind the two layers that were punched with the Handmade Wishes Punch, I added a Poppy Parade layer that was punched with a new punch from Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog. It gave me the added pop of color I wanted behind my tag. Here’s a look at the Decorative Circle Punch:

Decorative Circle Punch, Stampin Up! 159174When I make a lot of a project, I like to line them up and take an “infinity shot” of them. Here’s an infinity view of some of the tags I made:

Handmade Wishes Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian KingAs I downloaded the pictures of the tags, I was confused by why the white layers on the tags seem so dull. Was my lighting THAT BAD? No. As it turns out, the top layer IS NOT white – it’s Sahara Sand. Mystery solved. ♥

If you like this mix of Sahara Sand, Evening Evergreen and Poppy Parade as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
