I broke down. After so many of my amazing customers have purchased the gnomes bundle, paper and coordinating items, I decided to add these little friendly creatures to my last order. I had the paper and, at the time, did not realize the dies would coordinate so perfectly with the pages in the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper…big win! I used these products (and another whimsical favorite) to make this sweet, differently-sized card:
This card base measures 5-1/2″ x 7″ (scored at 3-1/2″). The three gnomes on my card are cropped from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper with the Gnomes Dies. There are two gnomes in the paper – a short man and a slightly taller woman – but I cropped three men for this card for consistency (and the shorter characters worked better for what I had in mind). Here’s a look at the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper:

I cropped the trio of gnomes on my card from the first page on the second row above, and I mounted them on the Pacific Point piece that’s showcased last on that second row. The mix of colors is so festive! The mushrooms on the fourth page of the second row can also be cropped with dies from the Gnomes Dies. Here’s a look at the Kindest Gnomes Bundle, which includes the Kindest Gnomes stamp set and coordinating Gnomes Dies:
Be Cool. Be Chill. Be Merry. The super-fun sentiment on the face of my card isn’t pulled from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set (although there are some really cute sentiments in the set). As I perused the spines of my stamp sets (my index finger often helps me scan these sets to find the right elements), I paused at Penguin Place, a returning favorite from last year’s Holiday Mini Catalog, where this trio of sentiments greeted me with a big smile.
The Penguin Builder Punch is also a returning favorite in the new catalog. Such fun to have them back!
The watercolored gnomes in this paper combine select colors in the patterns. The gnome hats on my card are colored with (in order) Pool Party/Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral/Poppy Parade and Pacific Point/Night of Navy. The colors are such fun. I really love the mix of Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Pacific Point (the lightest shade in each hat). If you like this combination as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
