The Texture Chic Suite features images and sentiments for all seasons – Winter snowflakes, Spring flowers, Summer seashells and Autumn leaves are all represented in the imagery and colors of this suite. That’s what made it so easy for Emma and me to build projects from the Texture Chic Memories & More Cards for our last Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit.
I created this “extra” card with leftover Texture Chic Memories & More Cards to share with the participants during our bonus Zoom call on Saturday, but I didn’t get to share my extras when my internet decided to take a really long nap mid-call. Here’s a no-stamping card I made with these cards and a couple of die-cuts:
Here’s a closer look at the colors and images in the Texture Chic Memories & More Cards, which are part of this week’s Weekly Deals (yay!):
There are four sheets of stickers in each pack and a variety of cards in two sizes: the small cards measure 3″ x 4″, and the large cards measure 4″ x 6″. Here’s a look at the two cards I featured on my card:
I don’t often used Mango Melody, but I knew the frame around the large card would be a perfect accent to my small card. I needed to change the size of the frame, though. To re-size the 4″ x 6″ card, I positioned the small card in the center of the large card and cropped a section out of the middle. I then snipped into the other corners so all four corners were consistent in the background. Here’s a closer look:
I framed the gorgeous, leaf-filled card with Mango Melody to coordinating with the frame and the “You’re on my Mind” sticker and added three leaves from the Chic Dies. I cropped the leaves with Basic White cardstock and then added three colors with my Blending Brushes – Mango Melody, Soft Suede and So Saffron. I accessorized with a vellum cardstock circle (cropped with the Stylish Shapes Dies) and three Brushed Metallic Dots.
If you like this soft, bright and neutral mix of colors as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Papers: Texture Chic Memories & More Cards, Soft Suede, Mango Melody, Vellum Cardstock, Basic White Inks: So Saffron, Mango Melody, Soft Suede Accessories: Chic Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Blending Brushes, Brushed Metallic Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals

This card “says” autumn but the yellows make it feel like sunshine!
Pretty and yes on the Mango (which I forget to use) it adds brightness and I like it !
Here’s another beauty! The pretty layers and no-stamping make it a win-win in my book. I will CASE it very soon. Enjoy your day!
Love the frame you created…you have worked these M & M cards well!
CASEing this for sure. I have been asked to make some fall themed charity cards and had not even thought about these M&M cards which I do have. I bet I will be pulling some of these cards out to make other cards out of them. Thanks for the tips on resizing them too. I had better look to see if I have plenty of the Mango Melody as I look around my husband’s office where the computer is, I see I have used it a lot since it resembles an Iowa Hawkeye color of gold with black pairing. I am too tired to try and come up with a pun out of this comment. It has been several stressful days for us. Anyway, I love this card and thought I would give you some kuddos!
Nice card, Brian Thanks for sharing how you cropped the paper to fit..
Always, clean and crisp
Very clever way of resizing a Memories & more card! I want to borrow this idea… thanks for sharing.
