Framed with Snowflakes

I’m excited to share today’s card for several reasons: (1) it combines two bundles I’ve yet to showcase on my blog, (2) there’s a tie-in to the card I shared yesterday and (3) I love how it came together. And – the timing couldn’t be more perfect. If you haven’t yet picked up the Snowman Magic and Window Wishes Bundles, then tomorrow’s FREE SHIPPING DAY would be a great time to add them to your shopping cart.

During Stampin’ Up!’s World Card Making Day Virtual Event, the company shared the news of a FREE SHIPPING DAY, so I can share it with you, too! On October 4 (from 12:01am MT to 11:59pm MT), everyone gets FREE SHIPPING on every order over $75 (before taxes). Today is a great day to make your list. ♥

Back to today’s card. From the moment I saw the snowflake frame in the Snowman Magic Bundle, I knew I needed this bundle. I’ve been distracted by so many other projects (everything is so much fun to play with!), but I finally made my way back to the snowflake frame. Here’s my card:

Window Wishes, Snowman Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian King

Rather than just crop one frame of snowflakes from 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ cardstock with the Snowman Dies, I cropped two! I flipped one of the cutouts 90 degrees and positioned it over the other. Here’s a look at the Snowman Magic Bundle, which includes the Snowman Magic stamp set and coordinating Snowman Dies:

Snowman Magic Bundle, Stampin Up! 159818How fun is that frame that measures 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″? I love it and was excited to see how well they worked together when doubled up and flipped one upside down. Here’s a closer look:

Window Wishes, Snowman Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe sentiment on my card features a wonderful sentiment from the Window Wishes stamp set, part of the Window Wishes Bundle. Here’s a look:

Window Wishes Bundle, Stampin Up! 159757Why did I choose this sentiment from this stamp set? Well, it worked well with the snowflakes AND it fit perfectly inside the oval center from the oval frame die I showcased in yesterday’s post (so, it was sitting on my craft desk).

Window Wishes, Snowman Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe sentiment was a perfect fit for the die from the Fabulous Frames Die:

Fabulous Frames Dies, Stampin Up! 159163I popped up my snowflake frames with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and decorated a few of the snowflakes with silver embellishments from the Festive Pearls – a perfect accent, don’t you think?

Stamps: Window Wishes  Papers: Night of Navy, Pool Party, Thick Basic White  Inks: Night of Navy  Accessories: Snowman Dies, Fabulous Frames Dies, Festive Pearls, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!
