Gift cards are such a great gift during the holidays. I love that they can be tailored to the individual you are gifting them to. If you like to give a little something to the postal worker who delivers your mail or your favorite server in your favorite restaurant, then I have an idea for you. Here’s a cute (and simple) gift card envelope that fits both a gift card and room for a little note. Here’s the gift card pocket:
My card pocket features several new products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog and Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. For starters, the envelope comes together quickly with the help of the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog. Here’s a look at this amazing set of dies:
The envelope dies are pretty wonderful, but they are nothing without some gorgeous paper. I reached for a poinsettia-filled page from the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper to build my pocket, and I decorated it with a Stylish Shapes Die and the Christmas Scottie Bundle. Here’s a look:

I stamped the sweet dog with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Thick Basic White cardstock and stamped the bow with Evening Evergreen ink (the ink was SO DARK, so I lightly stamped off once on scrap paper before stamping on the Basic White cardstock. I cropped both with the coordinating Scottie Dog Punch. Here’s a look at this super-fun stamp set / punch bundle:
The insert is built from a 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock and a 2-1/8″ x 3-3/8″ piece of Basic White. I stamped a little sentiment at the base of the insert from the Christmas Scottie set. Here’s a look at the personalized note insert and gift card as they are being removed from (or inserted into) the Mini Pocket Envelope:
