A Warm Welcome with Stampin’ Up!’s Gingerbread House Dies

When you order the products you love for a season, you earn a huge bonus when the products are versatile to be used outside of that season. Let’s say, for example, that you love the gingerbread house in Stampin’ Up!’s Gingerbread House Dies – how fun would it be if that house could be used for, let’s say, a housewarming card or a tag to welcome a new neighbor to the neighborhood? Here’s how that Christmas-themed die might translate to other times of the year:

Warm Welcome, Gingerbread House Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian King, house warming cardI cropped the house from the Gingerbread House Dies from three layers of paper – a Crushed Curry piece of the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, a panel of Night of Navy cardstock and the Soft Suede card base. All of the cutouts lead to the “welcome” inside. Here’s a look at the Christmas-themed Sweet Gingerbread Bundle, which includes the Gingerbread House Dies:

Sweet Gingerbread Bundle, Stampin Up! 159719I love this house die for a housewarming card, but the sentiments and additional elements in the Warm Welcome Bundle (an early-release from Stampin’ Up!’s January – April 2023 Mini Catalog) are great for a “congratulations on your new home” or “welcome to the neighborhood” card. Here’s a look at the Warm Welcome Bundle:

If you like this mix of Polished Pink, Crushed Curry, Night of Navy and Soft Suede as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
