Thank You with Conversation Bubbles

Yesterday I shared a closer look at the samples on the front of Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. If you missed that post, you can see it here.

There are SO MANY wonderful goodies in this new catalog – like so many other books, there’s something for everyone. I am excited to start sharing some of these new products with you. Today I’m sharing one of my favorite, new bundles. The Conversation Bubbles Bundle should already be on your wish list – if not, I hope they are by the end of this post. Here’s my card:

Here’s a look at the Conversation Bubbles Bundle, made up of the Conversation Bubbles stamp set and Conversation Bubbles Dies (new is Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming January-April 2023 Mini Catalog):

There are so many fun and exciting things to note about the Conversation Bubbles Dies, so let’s take a closer look. Here are some fun things I note about these dies:

• While many of the dies are designed to provide an outline for the stamped image, the inside piece can also be used with the cutout or on an entirely different project.
• Four of the conversation bubbles include textures (stripes or speckles) that make the cutouts more fun.
• The large, long image on the top row of the image above can be used along the edge of a panel to create a conversation bubble out of different shapes and sizes.
• The frames allow you to use the sentiment in this stamp set or to pull in other sentiments.
• There are hearts, flowers and stars in the set of dies.

I stamped several word bubbles on the Sahara Sand background panel with Sahara Sand ink. I then stamped the thank you sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Calypso Coral cardstock and cropped it with the conversation bubble in the lower, right corner of the image above. I then used the same die to crop a word bubble in Thick Basic White. I taped them together and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I paired the sentiment with two panels from the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper – it was the Calypso Coral hearts (or maybe they are arrows that look like hearts) that drew me in. The mushrooms are on the opposite side of this sheet of paper, and I thought they looked great together. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper (currently available in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog):

The Calypso Coral really pops against the Smoky Slate and Sahara Sand panels and patterns on this card. If you like this mix of Smoky Slate, Sahara Sand and Calypso Coral as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
