Sending Love Letters with Full of Love

It’s been a while since I’ve played along with an online challenge. This week’s Global Design Projects got my creative juices going, so I knew I needed to play along. It helps that the challenge is to CASE one of my friend, Janneke’s gorgeous cards. I worked with Janneke Dijkstra-de Jong when I was on the Global Design Project team, and we are both part of the Be Inspired group. Here’s the card I made:

As I mentioned above, I CASE’d one of Janneke’s cards. When we CASE (Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit), we find inspiration in a project – theme, color combinations, layout, products used – and create our own project by making changes to make it our own. Janneke’s band of sweet snowflakes inspired me to create a similar look with love letters. I stamped the floral image from Full of Love on a variety of soft colors and snipped out each one. These love letters are floating in the air! The envelopes are showcased on a Smoky Slate panel that’s embossed with the Into the Clouds Embossing Folder. Here’s a look at this super-sweet embossing folder:
