Happier Than Happy with Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper

Over the years, I’ve attended weddings, baby showers and birthday parties to celebrate special days for my friends and family. I love that I can make one-of-a-kind cards to celebrate these occasions. Last night, I celebrated Leigh Ann’s retirement from Cox. I’ve been there for 22 years, and I’ve worked with Leigh for many of her 25 years at the company. While I’m selfishly sad to see her go, I am so happy for her upcoming adventures. Here’s a photo we grabbed at last night’s celebration:

I was “going with” the “Hooray it’s your day” sentiment in the Irresistible Blooms stamp set, but it wasn’t expressing exactly what I wanted to express to Leigh Ann. I made a baby card last week with the Happier Than Happy stamp set (you can see that card here). I thought that would be a perfect sentiment for the front of my card. Whether I’m happy you have a new baby or happy you are retiring, it’s a great sentiment of support and love. Here’s a look at the Happier Than Happy Bundle:

I love the bright, sunny colors in the Hello, Irresistible 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Each panel I showcase features Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight. To temper the brightness a bit, I gave each panel a Basic White frame and added a Gray Granite base and sentiment. The warm gray really helped to tone down all the sweetness, turning these bright colors into a sophisticated mix on the card. If you like this mix of Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Gray Granite as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
