Get-Well Wishes with the Seasonal Branches Bundle

I’m so excited to unpack my pre-order items and spend time getting to know these new goodies demonstrators were able to order before the launch of the catalog on May 2. The new colors are amazing! The new papers are out-of-this-world. The new bundles are innovative and incredible. Today I’m sharing a sweet, simple card I made with one of the new bundles and a page of the new Color Family Designer Series Papers. Here’s my card:

The branch, the leaves and the sweet bird are stamped with the Seasonal Branches stamp set and cropped with the coordinating Seasonal Branches Dies. Do you want to know what I love most about this innovative bundle? The branch can be decorated with leaves, berries or flowers – and you don’t have to cut out a bunch of little elements to glue all over the branch. The leaves, for example, stamp with one image and crop as one image that lays right over the branch. I LOVE THAT! I stamped the branch in Early Espresso and cropped it with the dies. I stamped the leaves with Shaded Spruce ink, colored each one with a Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend and cropped them with the dies. I stamped the bird with Night of Navy ink, colored her with Balmy Blue and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends and cropped her with the dies.

I mounted my branch, leaves and birds on a Thick Basic White circle (the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies, which are carrying forward into the 2023 Annual Catalog). To add a little depth to the circle, I added a light mist of Balmy Blue ink with a Stampin’ Blend. Here’s a closer look:

The background pattern on my card features a Balmy Blue page from the new Color Family Designer Series Papers – how cool are those all-purpose dashes?! I love all of the new designs this year. Here’s a look at the designs in the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers:

I love the soft colors on this sweet card – they really feel like Spring, don’t they?! If you like the mix of Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Balmy Blue as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
