YAY – Celebrating with the Beautiful Balloons Dies

YAY! Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog is live next week – and there are so many wonderful, new products to be excited about. Once I get past my excitement over the Color Refresh, I’ll certainly turn my excitement to the new bundles, papers, ribbons and accessories. For now, though, those items are secondary to the new (and returning) colors. Here’s a celebratory card I made to share just a little bit of my excitement:

My card features three stars from the Beautiful Balloons Dies. This bundle is filled with balloons, stars, confetti and celebratory sentiments – I’m restraining myself a bit to focus on these three, amazing colors. Here’s a look at the Beautiful Balloons Bundle, which includes the Beautiful Balloons Dies used on today’s project:

I layered each star with a letter from the Alphabet À La Mode Dies – such a great set of dies from Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog that are carrying forward into the 2023 Annual Catalog (which earns a big “YAY” on its own). Here’s a look at these incredible dies:

I embossed a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ panel of Basic White cardstock with the flowery folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders that are part of the Online Exclusives offering. The five-point flower mimics a star, so I thought it would be the perfect addition to this celebratory card. All three of the wonderful folders come in one package – perfection! The Basics 3D Embossing Folders are currently on backorder, but it looks like they’ll be back in stock the first week of May. The stars on my card are three returning colors (past In Colors that have made their way back into our Core Color Collection with the release of the new catalog on May 2). Do you love the mix of Pretty Peacock, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst?!
