Big Love for Baby

Five stripes – that’s the inspiration for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, hosted by Judy Rozema. There are so many ways to go with it – five stripes of one color, an ombre of tones or a rainbow of colors. I wanted to make 15 cards with this sketch but whittled that down to one. 🙂 Here’s the sweet rainbow card I made with the inspiration from this sketch:

With the mix of sweet rainbow stripes, I couldn’t help but to reach for the Little Dreamers Bundle – it was on my first order from the new catalog, and I couldn’t wait to play. I love the sweet images in this set and the bold, adorable sentiments that accompany the characters. Here’s a look at the Little Dreamers Bundle:

I stamped the flying elephant with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Thick Basic White cardstock and colored it with a Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend. I cropped him with the coordinating Little Dreamers Die and popped him up over two clouds I punched with the Cloud Punch. Here’s a closer look (is he not the cutest?!):

I added three silver sequins to my card to add a little pizzazz. 🙂 The silver sequins pair well with the Smoky Slate base and elephant but also look white and clean. Here’s a look at the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins, new in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog:

Five 7/8″ strips of cardstock build a sweet rainbow behind the elephant – I used Sweet Sorbet, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist and Boho Blue to build this soft rainbow. If you like this mix of colors as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
