A Gorgeously Made Thank You Card

The title of this blog post (“A Gorgeously Made Thank You Card”) makes me giggle because it sounds like I’m bragging about the card I have made to share with you. While I’m happy with how it turned out, the name of the bundle is Gorgeously Made. 🙂 Here’s a thank you card I made with this new bundle and the coordinating Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper:

I really had fun with this card – the layers and textures are a little outside of my “normal” but they gave me just what I was looking for. I know you love the stem of leaves (that’s expected), but don’t you just love the little notebook paper cutout with the stitched side and the torn edges from from the Gorgeously Made Dies? Here’s a look at the Gorgeously Made Bundle:

Everything above the notebook paper cutout is from the Gorgeously Made Bundle – I used the dies to create the torn edges and to cut out the leaves. I stamped the Pretty Peacock panel with the Gorgeously Made images to create a little texture on the card and stamped the sentiment with Pretty Peacock on Pool Party cardstock. I even used the die that’s shaped like washi tape to crop the sentiment but snipped the torn edges off for a clean sentiment. Here’s a closer look at the texture that might not be visible on the first picture of the card above:

The focal panel works so well with the textured panel behind it – I only wish it hadn’t covered up so much of that gorgeous paper! 🙂 Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper:

The panel of torn papers from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper feature Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon patterns. I chose a lighter aqua tone to accent the Pretty Peacock on my card. If you like this mix of Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock (beautiful aquas) as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
