Celebrate Independence Day

Happy July 4! I was planning to host an Independence Day parade on my blog – a lineup of patriotic cards and colors. As I was settling in to prepare my parade, it occurred to me that I’ve yet to showcase the “Celebrate” sentiment from the Wanted to Say Dies. To the craft table I went…

Here’s the card I made to celebrate Independence Day:

I’ve loved the Wanted to Say Dies since they debuted in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog – and I’ve officially showcased all of the sentiments in the set (as of today). Here’s a look at the Wanted to Say Dies:

Wanted to Say Dies, Stampin Up! 161594I layered the detailed “Celebrate” with the outline of the same word and pulled the collection of stars from the same set of dies. Before I added the stars to my card, I painted them with a little Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush for added shine. Here’s a closer look:

The stars in the background are pulled from the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – I love these papers! The stars blend from Misty Moonlight to Blueberry Bushel stars on the papers. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (I used the sixth pattern on the bottom row below):

This Blueberry Bushel gingham pattern is pulled from the Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – such a great pack of papers! Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:

  7. Does the glitter come off at all? I love the look of glitter but I don’t want it on me or surfaces in my house.
