Christmas came early in Atlanta. Despite temperatures in the mid-90’s, the Fungeon (that’s my stamping basements) was all joy with Christmas images and sentiments. I couldn’t have had more fun with the super-gorgeous Horse & Sleigh Bundle and coordinating One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, new products in Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives. Here’s a look at the card I made:.
Here’s a look at the new Horse & Sleigh Bundle, which includes the Horse & Sleigh Photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Horse & Sleigh Dies:
I stamped the sleigh and horse with Early Espresso ink on Thick Basic White cardstock, colored the image with a mix of Stampin’ Blends and then cropped them with the coordinating die. Here are the Stampin’ Blends colors I used to give life to the horse and sleigh: Real Red, Old Olive, Pool Party, Pecan Pie, Bronze, Medium (SU600) and Medium Light (SU700). Such fun! Here’s a closer look:
How regal is this horse?! I mounted my horse-drawn sleigh on a GORGEOUS piece of the One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in 6 of the double-sided pages in this pack of papers:
Here’s the think – the image above only shows 6 of the 12 double-sided pages in this pack of papers, so you don’t see the page I used here. Trust me when I say that ALL of the pages in this pack of papers is GORGEOUS. Here’s the page I used to create a backdrop for my horse-drawn sleigh:
There’s a SWEET little deer at the center of this page – if you think I covered him up with the Pool Party circle at the center of my card, then you are wrong. I cropped out the sweet deer with a circle die and will showcase him in another project I will share with you tomorrow. He’s SO, SO SWEET. Anyway, I covered the open hole at the center of my card with the Pool Party circle and sentiment behind the sleigh. This gorgeous sentiment is pulled from the Perched in a Tree stamp set. Here’s a look:
I added three Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes (also in the Online Exclusives) to add a little weather to my project. Brrr. The snowflakes are white, copper and gold (and are shown in the products listed below).
It wasn’t a stretch for me to add a Pool Party circle to the center of my card – the mix of Pool Party, Real Red and Early Espresso is one of my favorites! If you love this combination of colors as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

I love this card—this stamp and the gorgeous DSP are sure to be a go-to for many crafters for their holiday cards this year.
Can’t wait to see “Bambi” in your next post. I knew you’d never waste his personal photo op by covering him up!
Love where you tucked the sentiment.
Beautiful coloring and card!
LOL, yup, I was worried about the deer for about 3 seconds….great card!
Wow! This is a gorgeous card, Brian. Your coloring is awesome. I love the DSP and color combination. Can’t wait to see how you use the little deer. Enjoy your day!
Gorgeous card! This paper must be seen in person. The photos online do not do it justice. Like you said, EVERY. SINGLE. PAGE. is stunning!!! So glad you saved the sweet little deer for another card!
This suite is number one on my “to be ordered” list.
I am really fond of deer lately (because we have a mama and a fawn that come to visit my garden weekly). So…I am VERY happy that this sweet babe will live for another day. Brilliant use of the pool party circle; makes that sleigh pop off the page. Beautiful card!
