If you like to make cute or scary or scary-cute projects for Halloween, you’ll want to make your Halloween-themed purchases as so as Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog is live on September 6. I love the cuteness of Halloween (not a huge fan of horror or the macabre), so I went straight to the Tricks & Treats Bundle in the new catalog. The images and sentiments in the stamp set are adorable, BUT…the coordinating dies are amazing. I love the little treat box in the dies – I used this new bundle to make these:
Here’s a look at the new Tricks & Treats Bundle (available starting September 6):
The treat boxes are assembled with two cuts of the die in the bundle. I burnished the folds in the cutouts with a bone folder and assembled the boxes with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Each finished box measures 3″ x 4″ x 1″ and has an open top. There’ s a little die in the set of dies that adds two holes to the top of the box (2 on each side) to turn the box into a bag. How fun!
Here’s a look at the pieces after they were cut out and before they were decorated with cute, fun elements:
Want a closer look at each of the treat boxes?
The black box is decorated with a panel of Pumpkin Pie stripes from the Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. A 2-3/8″ circle of Crushed Curry is decorated with a spooky house, an adorable ghost and a sentiment from the Tricks & Treats Bundle. I added a Smoky Slate cloud and Pumpkin Pie stars from the Give It a Whirl Dies. Here’s a closer look:
The Pumpkin Pie box is decorated with a thinner strip of the same Paper Pumpkin Pie showcased above. The adorable Frankenstein is stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I popped him up on a 2-1/2″ square panel of Basic Gray paper from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. You might see the same orange stars from the other box and a cute tag with the “eek” sentiment. Here’s a closer look:
These boxes or bags are perfect for a little baggie of candy, a cookie or peppermints (what child doesn’t love to receive Starlight mints for Halloween?!). I’m so glad I looked more closely at the dies because I’ll use this little box throughout the year!

Thanks so much, Sonny! I’m not a 3D expert, but these were easy and fun to make. ♥

Almost missed it. 🙂 Thanks so much, Cindie!
Cute Halloween bags, Brian. I like the new bundle. Enjoy your weekend.
Oh my!! I passed this up…thinking I didn’t need it. I’m working very hard making things for a huge craft fair in October. These little boxes would be perfect! I love how you decorated them.
