Stampin’ Up!’s Joy of Noel

I shared a fun Halloween project from Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Holiday Mini yesterday – if you missed the adorable treat boxes, you can see them here. Today I’m popping over to Christmas for a sweet-and-simple card that showcases some new goodies that will be available when Stampin’ Up!’s September-December 2023 Mini Catalog launches on September 6. Here’s the card I’ve made to share with you today:

Joy of Noel Bundle, Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christmas card

At the heart of this card is a single die that crops the letters NOEL. In the center of a 3″ square piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock, I cropped the letters (saving the center of the “O” to add back at a later time). Here’s a look at the Joy of Noel Bundle from the new catalog:

Joy of Noel Bundle, Stampin Up!, 161967I mounted the square sentiment on a watercolored Lemon Lime Twist design from the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper from the 2023 Annual Catalog. I added a piece of the same paper behind the NOEL sentiment. Here’s a closer look at the layering of this sentiment:

While there’s no Lemon Lime Twist in the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper, I added a 1-1/2″ strip of the painted holly and berries to the left side of the front panel. This pack of papers is GORGEOUS! Here’s a closer look at the colors and patterns in the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper:

Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 161958The Joy of Noel Bundle and the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper are amazing on their own, but they are also a part of a double-bundle collection in the new catalog. Here’s a look at the Joy of Christmas Suite Collection, which includes two bundles, two packs of papers, a gingham ribbon and loose gems and sequins:

Joy of Christmas Suite Collection, Stampin Up!, 161983I added three Lemon Lime Twist gems from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack – such a great set of shiny gems! The combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Shaded Spruce and Real Red makes me so very happy. The trio is a gorgeous mix of classic Christmas colors with a touch of brightness from the Lemon Lime Twist. If you like this combination as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
