Yesterday I promised to share a friendship card with you today. I’m here to deliver on that promise. ♥ Today’s card is a blend of a beautiful sentiment, gorgeous papers, and some perfectly coordinated elements. It’s a simple design, but there are some fun elements I want to point out to you. Here’s the card I’m excited to share with you today:
When I couldn’t decide which patterns to use on my card, I decided to pick three. Why not?! The focal panel of my card measures 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ and showcases three Lost Lagoon patterns from the Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I cropped the full panel with the paper showcased at the top, added the plaid panel from one corner to the base and then fit the leaf pattern against it. I simply trimmed along the edges of the first piece when I was done. I love the pieced look of these pages.

The sentiment on my card is one of my favorites – what an incredible way to say “thank you” or “you are wonderful”? The sentiment, stamped with Pretty Peacock and pulled from the Earthen Textures stamp set, is framed by a dotted image that stamped with Lost Lagoon from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and cropped with the coordinating Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I added a Pretty Peacock leaf, cropped from the Artistic Dies. Here’s a closer look at the sentiment on my card:
