Leaves for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Many of my Stampin’ Up! team members (not only those with blogs) share their gorgeous projects in our team’s Facebook community – there’s such amazing and inspiring creativity in this group! I’m always excited when my team’s blog hop rolls around, though, because I get to share some of their amazing work with you. I’m just as excited to see their projects as you are, and I am proud to share them with you.

Leaves InKing Royalty Blog HopWelcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! Don’t you just love this time of year when all the leaves begin to change and fall?! We do, and we are excited to share our creations. Hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Feel Better Soon

The get well wishes on the card I’ve made for this month’s blog hop is surrounded by gorgeous leaves from the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper and a beautiful background from the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper. I’ve added some other accessories for a little extra pizzazz. Here’s my card:

Wanted to Say Dies, Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King, get well soon cardLet’s start with the leaves. Since the moment I cut into the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper, I knew I’d showcase these gorgeous green leaves on a special project. Today is the day!  There’s nothing Christmas-y about this project, but the paper is pulled from a gorgeous pack of Christmas papers. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper:

Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 161958The watercolor-washed panel of Lemon Lime Twist paper below the sentiment and around the edges of the leafy paper are pulled from the gorgeous Delightful Floral Designer Series paper, an Online Exclusives Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the bright colors and beautiful patterns in this pack of papers:

Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 162356The “Feel Better Soon” sentiment is pulled from my favorite set of stand-alone dies in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog – It was so easy and fun to build this sentiment with an Adhesive Sheet behind the Shaded Spruce sentiment. Here’s a look at the incredible dies in the Wanted to Say Dies:

Wanted to Say Dies, Stampin Up! 161594While there’s no Lemon Lime Twist in the leafy pattern I chose for my card (there’s Old Olive and Shaded Spruce), the watercolored leaves definitely hint at the bright tones of Lemon Lime Twist. That made it easy to pair the panel with the Lemon Lime Twist panels from the Delightful Floral Paper. I also added some Lemon Lime Twist ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack and some Parakeet Party pearls from the 2022-2024 In Color Pearls. Here’s a closer look at these gorgeous accessories:
