I’m so excited to be playing with my new Sale-a-Bration products – and today I’m sharing a simple project I made with THREE products from Stampin’ Up!’s January-February 2024 Sale-a-Bration brochure. I only started to showcase one, but the other two poked their way into the spotlight. Here’s the card I made:
Can you name all three of the Sale-a-Bration products I’ve used here? Of course you can. Just to validate your informed response, here are the Sale-a-Bration products I’ve used on this card:
1 – Detailed Dogwood (#162953). Select this cling stamp set for free with a $100 order. Not only is the stamp set filled with beautiful flowers and gorgeous textures, but the single flower coordinates with the Petal Park Builder Punch in the Annual Catalog. What a great bonus! Here’s a look at the Detailed Dogwood stamp set:
I stamped the dogwood flowers with Basic Gray ink on a 2-5/8″ x 4-1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock and colored the images with watercolor pencils (Flirty Flamingo for the flowers, Crushed Curry for the flower centers, Granny Apple Green for the leaves and Early Espresso for the branches). If you’ve ever seen dogwood flowers, then you know there’s a rusty little specks at the tips of each flowers. A couple of taps with my Cajun Craze watercolor pencil gave me the perfect accent for my flowers. Here’s a closer look:
2 – Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (#162975). Select this pack of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Papers with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration. While the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper coordinates with the Stippled Roses Bundle in the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog, the gorgeous colors and textures nicely pair with a variety of products. Here are the gorgeous colors and patterns in the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper:
3 – Heartfelt Hellos (#162964). Select this versatile, cling stamp set with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration. I love the mix of many-occasion sentiments in this set! I heat-embossed the “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Pebbled Path cardstock and then snipped out the “Happy” and “Day”. Sweet. Simple. Here’s a look at the sentiments in the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set:
My card also features a cropped piece of Vellum Cardstock behind the focal panel of the dogwood flowers. I cropped the vellum with one of the Perennial Postage Dies, likely to be one of my favorite sets of dies from the new catalog. Here’s a look at the Perennial Postage Bundle, which includes this set of 12 amazing dies:
Stamps: Detailed Dogwood, Heartfelt Hellos Papers: Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper, Pebbled Path, Basic White, Vellum Cardstock Inks: Basic Gray, Versamark, Watercolor Pencils (Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze) Accessories: White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Perennial Postage Dies, 2023-2025 In Color Dots (Pebbled Path), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Nice vellum detail and pretty coloring on the dogwood!
This card is beautiful and I love the vellum peeking out in the background!
Awesome coloring of this beautiful dogwood. I love how you masked the sentiment to get only the words you wanted. We have a white dogwood in the backyard and a pink one in the front yard. You did homage to our pink one. Can’t wait until it is time to see them again. Enjoy your day!
Brian, you are a master at taking several products and creating a gorgeous card. I love everything about this one. The vellum adds just enough texture, to go along with the dsp you used behind it. Your coloring is perfect and the placement of the sentiment, cut out separately is great. I guess that is why you are “the King”. 🙂
I didn’t think I needed the Dogwood stamp set, but your beautiful card has changed my mind. I love your coloring, the vellum, and the way you used the Mother’s Day sentiment making the sentiment set even more versatile.
