Yesterday I shared a “very Happy Valentine’s Day” card with the Adoring Hearts Bundle – and I promised to share another project with the bundle, giving it a new look. If you had asked me to make a card with three Sale-a-Bration products, I’m not sure how I’d approach it. When I sat down to make an elegant card with the Adoring Hearts Bundle, thought, the products jumped off the shelf and begged to be included. Here’s a more sophisticated love card with the same bundle:
The sentiment and three layers of hearts at the center of this card are pulled from the Adoring Hearts Bundle. The Crumb Cake base layer of the heart is embossed and cropped with the hybrid embossing folder – the Petal Pink and Calypso Coral layers are cropped with the coordinating dies. Once I built the Calypso Coral and Petal Pink heart combination, I knew I wanted to offset it with the gorgeous Pecan Pie page of paper from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (one item that can be selected for free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration) – such an unexpected design from this light pack of papers, but such a great addition! The Calypso Coral, patterned page from the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (also from Sale-a-Bration) gave me a lovely texture along the front my card and a coordinating layer for the colors I was working with. Working with Pecan Pie, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink, the Pecan Pie gems in the Opaque Faceted Gems were a perfect accent for my card. These gems (Pool Party, Pecan Pie and Calypso Coral) can also be selected for free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration. Here’s a look at the Opaque Faceted Gems:
