Hello, Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper

A small group of my favorite people in the world gathered together in Tennessee this past weekend for a customer workshop. While I’m normally able to make the trip to make cards with them, I was unable to make the trip this year. That didn’t stop me from sending a box of projects for them to make. I’ve been obsessed with the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (a gorgeous pack of papers that can be selected for free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration), so I thought they’d enjoy playing with it, too. Turns out I was right! Here’s the card they made during the workshop:

Beautiful blues and pinks in the flowers and birds with just a little touch of yellow. The background panel and pair of birds are both from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:

Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! Sale-a-Bration 162977Here’s a closer look at the page of birds on branches – some single birds, some pairs of birds, all beautiful birds. These watercolored images were easy to hand-snip with my Paper Snips. How many cards can you make with this one page of birds?!

Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper design, Stampin Up!I cropped a large circle with the Everyday Details Dies and added a touch of Daffodil Delight ink using a Blending Brush. That little touch of yellow adds a little sunshine (and a brightness) to this card. The watercolored images were really easy to snip (and forgiving). Here’s a closer look at the hand-snipped birds on my card:

Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Boho Blue are a perfect combination of colors and tones for Spring. If you love this mix of soft and bright tones for Spring as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
