Yesterday we welcomed a new baby with the Cutest Onesie Bundle – if you missed that project, you can see it here.Today’s project pulls a simple sentiment from the same stamp set for a “welcome to the neighborhood” card that I’m sharing today. Here’s my welcome card:
The From our Home stamp set featured sketches of a traditional, American Craftsman style home and a trio of town homes. The sweet sentiments are also pretty great. Here’s a look at the From our Home stamp set:
I simply stamped the trio of town homes on Basic Beige with Memento Tuxedo Black ink – so simple. Here’s a closer look at the image on the top panel of my card:
The “welcome” sentiment is pulled from the Cutest Onesie stamp set I featured yesterday – I stamped the full sentiment and snipped out the “welcome” with Paper Snips. Here’s a look at the Cutest Onesie Bundle, which includes the Cutest Onesie stamp set and coordinating Cutest Onesie Dies:
Sometimes it’s all about the layers. The layers of Basic Black, Basic Beige and Basic White on this card provide a great backdrop for the simple image at the heart of the card. Here’s a quick rundown of the layers on this card (starting with the card base and working my way up):
- Basic Black – 5-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ (scored at 4-1/4″)

Basic Beige is a WONDERFUL addition to the “basic” collection of colors – and I loved working with it here. If you love the classic mix of Basic White, Basic Beige and Basic Black as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
