A Lovely Day with Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper

Do you love a quick and easy card that doesn’t look quick and easy? Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 Annual Catalog offers a variety of suggestions that shouldn’t be missed. The “Quick and Easy Options” section of the catalog (pp. 12-29) includes so many great options for cards in a hurry, including the must-have Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper. Here’s a card I made with three designs from this pack:

The Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper features three sheets of double-sided designs and three 12″ x 12″ pages of die-cut greenery elements and frames. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:

The wreath of beautiful leaves on the front of the card is pulled from the second page of die-cut above. The misty Lost Lagoon page and the Petal Pink panel behind it are both pulled from the full sheet pages. I carefully cut around the grid design on the Petal Pink page to build the perfect frame for my card. Here’s a closer look:

The sentiment on my card looks like it was designed for this paper, doesn’t it?! It was pulled from the Charming Duck Pond Bundle – could you have guessed it? I stamped the sentiment with Lost Lagoon on a circle cropped with the Stylish Shapes Dies and framed it with a 2″ circle of Petal Pink I cropped with the 2″ Circle Punch. Here’s a look at the sentiment on my card:

And here’s a look at the Charming Duck Pond Bundle, which I picked up for the coordinating dies but am happy to have because of the sentiments I had overlooked:

I added three Petal Pink gems from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems. Such an elegant accent! If you like this combination of Petal Pink, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
