Thanks with Winterly Tree Tops

Stampin’ Up! demonstrators were able to access the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog (September – December 2024 Mini Catalog). I’m happy to report that the entire book is amazing! Like me, you are going to have a really, really, really long wish list from this book –  and I’m more than happy to help you get those goodies. 🙂 I’m happy to share my first card from one of the new collections in the new catalog. Here’s my card:

As a participant in a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator event earlier this Summer, I was able to pick up the Winterly Tree Tops Bundle and the coordinating Nest of Winter Designer Series Paper. This is the first I’ve played with them, and I couldn’t be happier! Here’s a quick look at the oh-so-sweet bundle:

My card features two designs from the coordinating Nest of Winter Designer Series Paper – the Gray Granite birch design and the watercolored, snow-speckled Pool Party panel are simple patterns in a pack of beautiful birds and wintery branches. I was happy to let these patterns shine on my card. I texture-embossed the background panel on my card with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder, adding a little extra texture to this design. Here’s a closer look:

The snowy circle on my card is cropped with one of the larger dies in the Spotlight on Nature Dies (snipped a little off the edge to allow it to nestle against the side of the top panel). I stamped the birds and branch with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and colored the sweet birds with a Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend and a Light Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blend (I totally copied the colors from a set of birds in the paper). I colored the branches with Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends and the berries with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. I am so happy with how they turned out. Here’s a closer look:
