SNEAK PEEK: Stampin’ Up!’s Sweetest Star Bundle

A lot of wonderful things are arriving in mailboxes all over the country – I’m excited by all the messages from participants as they receive their Summer One-for-One Swap cards (I’ve shared some this week, and I’m sharing the rest over the next couple of weeks). I’m also thrilled by messages from customers who’ve received their 2024 Holiday Mini Catalogs in the mail (if you haven’t yet received yours, it should arrive soon). What fun!

Today I’m sharing a card I made with two of my favorite, new products in the 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog, which is open for business on September 4. Here’s my festive card:

The fun characters and sentiment on my card are pulled from the new Sweetest Star Bundle – how fun are they?! Here’s a look at this must-have bundle, which includes the Sweetest Star stamp set and the coordinating Sweetest Star Punch:

I colored Mrs. Claus with a mix of Stampin’ Blends – Shy Shamrock, Real Red, Calypso Coral, Light Combo, Smoky Slate and Basic Black. I colored Santa with a mix of Real Red, Smoky Slate, Light Combo and Basic Black. Here’s a closer look at these cuties:

I inked up Falling Snow, a new background stamp, with Real Red ink and stamped it on a 4-1/4″ x 3″ piece of Real Red cardstock to deepen the color of the panel and add a little texture (without taking away from the stars of the project). Here’s a look at the Falling Snow stamp set, new in the soon-to-be released Holiday Mini Catalog:

Shy Shamrock and Real Red are not unexpected colors on this Christmas card. I wasn’t sure what to do with Mrs. Claus’ apron – at last minute, I even shocked myself when I started coloring with Calypso Coral. I couldn’t be happier. If you like this mix of Calypso Coral, Real Red and Shy Shamrock as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

I added three Shy Shamrock gems from the 2024-2026 In Color Sparkle Gems to accent the fun couple on my card – such an easy and effective accent.
