Brian’s Week in Review: August 25, 2024

Brian's Week in ReviewWow! This week went by very fast (yet last weekend feels like it was a year ago). My career job has kept me very busy this week (long days and late nights), so I was grateful to share parades of the One-for-One cards I received from talented stampers across this country. I always love sharing the swap cards, but the timing of this swap was perfect for me. ♥

I want to give a quick rundown of the week (for those who don’t follow me every day) and a little extra background (for those who already tune in every day). Please stick around – I’m also going to share a little bit about what you can expect in the coming week.

Monday

I kicked off the week with 12 gorgeous swap cards from my Summer 2024 One-for-One Card Swap. There’s such a great variety of cards in this batch of cards. How sweet is this card by Linda Callahan?

Tuesday

On Tuesday I shared with you that the Close to My Heart products that were recently added (and only available to former CTMH Creators) are now available for everyone. I shared some of the new products and link to all of them.

Wednesday

On Day Two of the 2024 Summer One-for-One Card Swap, I shared another batch of 12 beautiful cards. There are a lot of stand-outs in this batch, but I really love the Designer Series Paper design of Bobbi Miller’s swap card:

Thursday

Thursday’s post was dedicated to the swap card I received from Kim Mettelman. Not only is it a fancy fun fold, but the design is gorgeous – and the colors are perfection. Here’s an aerial view of Kim’s card:

Doesn’t that make you want to wrap up with a blanket and a cocoa? If you would like to read more about Kim’s Latte Love project, click here.

Friday

On Friday, I shared a sneak peek at some new products in Stampin’ Up!’s September – December 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog. Here’s the card I shared with the Sweetest Star Bundle and Falling Snow stamp set:

I love these characters that fit perfectly in the Sweetest Star Punch. LOVE! If you would like to see my original post for this project, including a look at these new products, click here.

Saturday

Yesterday I shared a look at six fancy fold cards I received in my Summer 2024 One-for-One Card Swap. I shared multiple pictures of each card to give you an idea about how each one unfolds. Here’s a look at Paulette Berkbigler’s fancy fold card with the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper:

Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit

Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Ki

For a little more than two years, Emma Goddard and I have hosted a card kit that we love so much. We design cards (exclusive to this kit) and send you everything you need to make the projects, along with a written tutorial and video to walk you through the highlights of each project. We’ll be launching our new kit this week (it will be launched on my blog). If you have participated in the past, then you’ll receive an email from me. Good times!

Retired Products

I’ve been photographic, logging and pricing a ton of retired products that I’ll soon load into my Retired Shop. I can’t promise it will launch this week, but good things are coming soon. ♥

  4. Thank you, Brian for the mention on this post about my card. I love this paper too and I’m sad because I don’t see it online anymore. But, we have so many other choices to make the “stack, cut and shuffle” technique. Thanks, my friend. Enjoy your Sunday.

    • So happy to share it again, Bobbi! It’s a great way to combine beautiful patterns – it’s a great pack of papers that I’m sad to see go away. THANK GOODNESS there are so many other great papers to play with. 🙂
