A simple card with simple colors and layers can be very satisfying. As I flipped through the pages of the Something for Everything Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, three items popped right out at me – two coffee cups and a Pumpkin Pie frame. These elements worked together to build this sweet card:
The coffee cups and frame are pulled from a pack of punch-out elements (these are pulled from the bottom, left corner of the product image below):
When you punch out these elements, you might be left with tiny, little tabs along the edges. You can snip those away with paper snips or file them away with a finger nail file. It’s so easy to perform that surgery and make those cleanups. You’re welcome! 🙂
Here’s a closer look at the mugs on my card:
I filled the inside of the orange frame with a woodgrain panel from the To Market Designer Series Paper and then added a band of the same paper to the card base behind the focal panel. I love this warm mix of colors! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the To Market Designer Series Paper:
The tiny sentiment on this cards pairs so well with the cups, don’t you think?! The sentiment was pulled from the Latte Love stamp set (makes sense because the set is coffee-themed). Here’s a look at this bundle:
I added my little scene to a Peach Pie card base and decorated the panel with three Peach Pie 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems. So sweet!
Why Pie? The title of my post says we should catch up with coffee and pie. In case you saw the coffee cups and wondered where the pie was featured. It’s there, I promise – in fact, there are THREE pies – Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie. If you love this mix of orange and brown tones as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

What Mary said. Clever, clever!
Can’t admit to loving THIS eclectic ephemera pack (although I have grabbed most of the others) but you always push me to think more creatively, so I guess this is going on my next order…😉
Charming card!
