It’s Sunday – and that means it’s time to take a look back at the past week in my Week in Review post. In today’s post, I want to share a quick rundown of the week (for those who don’t follow me every day) and a little extra background (for those who already tune in daily).
Stampin’ Up! launched a Seasonal Sale last week – from Wednesday through Friday, we were able to pick up bundles, papers and inks from the 2024 Annual Catalog at great discounts. Much of my week was spent sharing inspiration for the Seasonal Sale. The sale is over, but that doesn’t mean the inspiration is no good.
Here’s a quick look at my shares from the past week, followed by a quick look at what’s ahead in the week to come.
Monday
I kicked off the week with a rundown of the Seasonal Sale products and a quick card I made to showcase two of the Designer Series Papers and one of the bundles from the sale. Here’s the card I shared on Monday:
I cropped this trio of oranges directly from the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper with the Citrus Blooms Dies. I love when dies and punches coordinate with papers like this. While I have the option to stamp the same line-art image from the stamp set and crop them out, I am not able to color these images as beautifully as they are shown in the paper. I love this option.

Tuesday
On Tuesday, the day before the big sale, I built a post with inspiration from many of the bundles and papers in the sale. The parade of cards features 22 projects I previously shared (but all in one place). Here’s one of my favorite projects from this parade of inspiration projects:

Wednesday
With the launch of the sale on Wednesday, I pointed you to my online store – but not before I shared another project that features products from the Annual Catalog. Here’s the card I made with the To Market Designer Series Paper and Sketched Butterflies Bundle:
I often feel joy about how stamps, dies or papers look on a completed card. I don’t often get excited about my own decisions (the product does most of the work), but I was really excited about the colors I chose for this butterfly, making it far more beautiful than I had expected. I started with Dark Peach Pie on the inside of the wings, followed by Light Peach Pie and then Dark Petal Pink. I was surprised by that ombre look and happy with my test of the colors. Good job, me!

Thursday
I showcased the GORGEOUS and underappreciated Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper on Thursday’s fun fold sympathy card. Here’s a look at the card I shared on Thursday:
If you missed the Comforting Thoughts stamp set that was released a while back in the Online Exclusives, I hope you’ll take another look and add it to your wish list. This stamp set features a boatload of sentiments that are perfect for difficult-to-make sympathy cards.

Friday
I was excited to wake up on Friday morning because I knew you’d be enjoying the bright, cheery “I LOVE YOU” card I made with the Attention Shoppers Bundle and a heart from the Hearts of Elegance Dies (a new Online Exclusives die). Here’s the Valentine’s Day card I shared on Friday:
There’s such simplicity in this project, which makes me love it more. The mix of Summer Splash and Melon Mambo is also a great combination that makes me so happy. If you’d like to read more about this project, CLICK HERE.
Saturday
Yesterday I shared the adorable thank you card I received from Dawn Schneider, who was the recipient of the Blog Candy Giveaway I hosted in October. Here’s the card she made:
The card is really cute and perfectly made, but the “WOW” element of this card is that she combined all six products from the giveaway (that aren’t designed to coordinate with each other) to build her card – and none of the elements feel forced or out-of-place. How cute is that card?!

Coming Up This Week
New Products on the Way
It’s a big week for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. We are historically able to purchase pre-order items from the January Mini Catalog in December. This year, though, we can place our pre-orders from the upcoming catalog on Tuesday this week. We’ll also earn Sale-a-Bration rewards ahead of the sale that starts in January – AND we’ll be able to pre-order from the January Online Exclusives. WOW! That means you’ll soon be seeing new products from the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog, January-February 2025 Sale-a-Bration brochure AND January launch of Online Exclusives.
Holiday One-for-One Swap
I am hosting my annual Holiday One-for-One Swap. You don’t have to make 10 cards or even 5 cards. Send me one card you’ve made, and I’ll send you another card in return. ♥ I’d love for you to participate – the deadline is November 23, so time is ticking to get your card in the mail to me.
