Can you believe the end of the year is here. It’s truly a wonderful time of the year – I hope you are settling in for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday week.
Today is Sunday – and that means it’s time to take a look back at the past week in my Week in Review post. In today’s post, I want to share a quick rundown of the week (for those who don’t follow me every day) and a little extra background (for those who already tune in daily). I’m also sharing a tiny peek at two promotions coming up this week – I’ll share more about these promotions as they roll out this week.
Monday
Monday was a very special birthday for me – it wasn’t a milestone birthday, and there was no big party. A quiet dinner and relaxing evening was just what I wanted. I received so many wonderful birthday cards in the mail – such love!
On Monday I shared a parade of birthday-themed cards on my blog – 12 projects that run the gamut from cutesy to beautiful. I also shared two sneak peeks at new birthday-themed products in Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2025 Mini Catalog. Such fun! This is one of my favorites from the lineup I shared on Monday:
This card showcases the Cake Celebrations Bundle, an Online Exclusives bundle that was added this year. I love this sweet cake and was really happy with how this card turned out.

Tuesday
On Tuesday I shared DAY FIVE from the 2024 Holiday One-for-One Card Swap I recently hosted. Participants received one card – but everyone gets to enjoy each of the cards.
I love all of the cards (and won’t settle on any favorites), but I want to showcase this gorgeous card from Kevin Boyer:
This card folds up to perfectly fit inside a medium envelope – and I love it! Kevin has participated in my one-for-one swaps for years, and I always love to see what she’s made. This one really wow’d me, and I was excited to mail it back out to another swap participant.
This was the last day of the Holiday One-for-One Card Swap, which included two cards I received in the mail the day before (I’ll blame the mail service vs. the card creators). Was happy I received TWO so I had a clean swap. 🙂

Wednesday
I took a quick break from Christmas cards on Wednesday to share a graduation card I made for my nephew who graduated from college. I am so proud of Garrison, and I know he’ll go on to do big, wonderful things. I designed the card with his school’s colors. Here’s the card I made:
I had fun with this card, but I was most excited to reach for the Wanted to Say Dies again. I LOVE these dies and can’t imagine a day without them. If you want to read more about this card, including the products I used, CLICK HERE.
Thursday
Ooooh-eeee! I was excited for Thursday to arrive – the day I launched my product shares from the upcoming catalog.
I love offering product shares and Designer Series Paper Swatch Books – I’ve been cutting and labeling the book covers and getting the Fungeon organized for the arrival of this product early next year.
If you have signed up for my shares, THANK YOU! I will send invoices out on December 31 (a week before I can place the order with Stampin’ Up!). If you haven’t signed up, I would LOVE for you to take a look. 🙂 There are A LOT of wonderful, new products coming up, and I’m excited to share them with you.
If you’d like to learn more (and sign up!), CLICK HERE. I would love to include you. ♥
Friday
On Friday I shared a card I made with a new bundle from Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming Online Exclusives launch. The Around it All Bundle will be available (along with some other great products) at the same time as the Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration are launching. Here’s the card I shared on Friday:
As soon as I saw this bundle (with 12 coordinating circles), I knew I needed it and was happy to pick it up on a demonstrator pre-order. I love these circles, and I love this fun sentiment.

Saturday
Saturday was a quick card that I LOVE oh-so-much! I was busy organizing the Fungeon and setting up for shares – and time got away from me. I was SO HAPPY to have a sweet, little deer from Louise Sharp’s visit to build a quick card. Thanks, Louise! Here’s the adorable deer on the card I shared yesterday:
Sweet, huh? The Reindeer Fun Bundle is unavailable now (the dies sold out), but the adorable stamp set is still in the online store.
Another reason I ran out of time – I called Louise on Facetime last night for a “quick hello” that ended up lasting for a little over an hour. Was happy for the call, though, because Louise reminded me of the deer that were tucked away on a shelf. EVERYONE should have a Louise Sharp starter kit. 🙂

Coming Up This Week
Christmas arrives this week, and I’m looking forward to quiet and relaxation. Mom was here for almost three weeks around Thanksgiving. Unless something changes, we won’t see Mom for Christmas – but that won’t preclude a New Year’s visit. ♥
This week I’ll be sharing my Christmas card – and you can expect a Christmas card parade. I’ll also be sharing some new and exciting things about the upcoming product launches.
Thanks for stopping by today!

These cards are so nice! You are a very talented guy, Brian. I missed the last one to one card swap…. but I hope you do another in the beginning of the New Year, “Yes?” Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025!
I am really grateful for your emails. Thank you!
Love the little deer, Brian. He was just waiting for his time in the spotlight!
I have a Jen Lane starter kit, perfect for the days I need instant inspo! Aren’t stamping friends great?
Thanks, Brian, for this review. Lots of creativity in these cards. Enjoy your day!
Another great week Brian. Calling for a ‘quick chat’…with me? Hahahaha, that is funny. 😂 I’m glad I mentioned those sweet little deers I cut out because you made the most adorable card ever!!
I’m glad you had a lovely birthday week. xx
