Last week I had an opportunity to mail out a few little gifts to my the participants in our monthly Pumpkin in the Fungeon calls – such a fun group. The gifts were small, but how could I send a gift without an adorable tag?! 🙂 Here’s the tag I made to accompany the little gifts:
Every quarter, Stampin’ Up! releases a small set of dies that coordinates with the Paper Pumpkin kit designs for that three-month period. The Spring is in the Air Dies are currently available for Paper Pumpkin subscribers. They are only $12.00 – and they are adorable. Here’s a look:
There’s a heart with a scalloped frame, a little cluster of honeycombs, a bee, grass and a flower outline. While they coordinate with the Paper Pumpkin Kits, they work well with so many other products, too! Such fun!
I added an Adhesive Sheet to the back of a scrap of Crushed Curry and another to the back of a scrap of Basic Black. From those pieces, I cropped the honeycombs cluster and bumble bee. The Adhesive Sheets made it easy to glue the images to the tag. I added a Real Red heart, punched from the Bee Builder Punch. What a cute collection of images! The sentiment, stamped with Real Red, is pulled from the Bee My Valentine stamp set. Here’s a closer look at the trio:
This collection of images and sentiment were added to a Thick Basic White base I cropped with an amazing die from from the Everyday Arches Dies, part of an upcoming Online Exclusives launch. Here’s a look at the must-have Everyday Arches Bundle:
The arches can be layered to create rainbows or built to showcase a rounded sentiment. For my tags, I created a base that mimics a bee hive – it’s not a literal interpretation, but the shape works well with the bee and the cluster of honeycombs. The collection of dies includes 10 dies, the largest of which measures 5-3/16″ x 3-15/16″. Here’s another look at these stitched arches:
While I can’t yet purchase products from the upcoming Scrapbooking Brochure, I am able to share a marketing piece from Stampin’ Up! that showcases the new Cute as Can Bee Designer Series Paper. It’s a redesign of the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper – the new colors give this paper new life. Here’s a look:
The tags are really simple – the mix of yellow, red and black looks so great against the Basic White arch. If you like this mix of Crushed Curry, Real Red and Basic Black as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Stamps: Bee My Valentine Papers: Crushed Curry, Real Red, Basic Black, Thick Basic White Inks: Real Red Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Spring is in the Air Dies, Adhesive Sheets, Bee Builder Punch
What do you think? Aren’t these products adorable?!
Thanks for stopping by today!
